The main difference between heat treatment and conventional drying is the higher temperature of exposure to wood. To prevent fire, processing is carried out in a protective environment created by special chambers. Processing is carried out at a temperature of 180-210 degrees in an atmosphere of water vapor. The technology consists of exposure to supersaturated water vapor itself at a temperature of 220-250 degrees.
